ENT v/s Opthal v/s patho?

ENT v/s Opthal v/s patho??
On the basis of earning and lifestyle

Rank aaya ho to choose anything no issue, nahi aaya ho to padhai karo and rank laao and den ask query

Why are you always so rude with your replies

Ent optha have v steep learning curves…and less opportunity to learn as jr…like less position…a 300 bedded hospital will have only 1 ophtha person… that too sitting on his or her job like a lice.wont leave till death type
Same with ent…
Scope bhot h…but entry point to that scope is v pin hole.

Bcz of earning curve …do fellowship in Arvind eye Care after ms ophtha …then u easily earn good packages …after ent u can do mch head and neck oncology…but in ophtha like phaco is short procedure around 15_20 min and u easily earn 20k rupees in 20 min procedure…laser surgeries also in ophtha u can get 40_50k per surgery

Ophthal.
Because even if you don’t get enough experience in MS you can do fellowship in some good hospitals. Like Arvind and shankar. Hands on experience is too good there

So overall it might take 5 to 6 years of training with less stipend.
But after that either you join corporate or open private (investment will be like 50-60lakh), but you will earn it back

Lifestyle is good,
Not many opd, and you can put all surgeries on one or two days and emjoy the rest of the week.

Usually work hours if priavte is - 11 to 5… like 6 hours opd time …
ENT IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS OPHTHAL. can settle early, in a private setup in a taluka place. Here also good work-life balance. And ALSO INVESTMENT IS MORE… But should have good confidence

Well i dont know much about patho. So i couldnt comment on it.
But earnings arent that good.
But good thing with patho is that, after MD here, its gonna be easier to get patho residensy in USA or to go to australia. Considering that you will have publoshed quite a few good papers and good research experience during pg here.
And patho ppl mint in usa.

Ent is the subject where u get to work as surgeon and physician…
Surgeries are tough but not fine like ophthalmology…
Tracheostomy …skull base surgeries… cut throat thyroid etc…

U are both physician and surgeon in ENT…no other field has that pecularity

mam reason ye h k bina ENT aur optho k kisi ka hospital ran krskta h bina patho k nhi krskta patho me jitna chaho kmai kro 10 doctor se rabta kr lia to eemandari se krengi tb bhi bhut hoga Ent aur optho me intizar bhut h marizo ka aur patho k alawa dono branch me jamne k lie bhut wqat chaie agr job krna ho to teeno ko brabr sakary milti h patho is also cilinical

Better talk to specialist of each field personally n see what suits your life style. Earning to log anatomy, physio n pharma may bhi karlete hai… point is what u want to thrive in

Opthlm>>>Ent>>Pathology is good btt Already DMLT People Settled there Market in Cities…

Dear u r forgotten i.e: pharma, take anything what u want, but dnt take pharma ,y bcoz one of my frnd taking Pharma, already case study, efficacy studies are over, pre marketing, marketing, post marketing visilence also going on…so better to choose other than pharma

Its upto you what you want to do basically! Ent has a wide horizon… Skull base surgeries, sleep apnea surgeries, head and neck oncology, cochlear implants etc. But it will take time, for you to get to that level and so does with every other branch! So you are passionate about ent go for it. Ent surgeons have an amazing lifestyle. Chosing between ent and ophthalmology its more like what you wanna do…ent will definitely have more emergencies…facial trauma, tracheostomies, foreign bodies. Both branches are equally good, and early settlement and success depends on your skill and knowledge not the branch.

If u like cutting then go for ent otherwise patho. Ent , opthal these have limited posts in most hospitals but patho labs are needed everywhere

Better Lifestyle with earning = patho > Ent >= Ophtalm
