Entrance exam is a gateway to the version of yourself that you want to become. While it is certainly beneficial to do really well in the exam, if you are getting what you want (and I say this because you mention same option at 3k-which is a really good rank), you should take it and focus on the real thing, how to be a better surgeon/physician/anesthetist etc. We are just standing at the gate, and it might not be wise to run after things that really won’t matter in future. Nobody will remember what rank you got (and it shouldn’t matter to you too, in this age of rampant reservation), be done with this, and start working on yourself and your profession

but this is not wat i deserve after such hard work

This thing makes me sad and guilty

ile it’s completely your own choice what rank you want after your preparation and everyone who studies hard deserves it … But scoring a little low rank in an exam which is deciding everything and every second of your whole preparation based on just 200 (mostly nonuseful clinically and completely theoretical) questions, it shouldn’t be a reason for anyone to lose hope.

I would just say if you are getting something you really want to do PG in your rank or even if you score 3k in next exam. You should take it, move on in life and enjoy doing what you wanna do in PG because that is what will matter ultimately…
