6-day post-op visit went well today!
First time seeing the aftermath of Tuesday’s surgery… 
Told me the hot pinches I sometimes feel followed by brief muscle spasms means my nerve endings are trying to reconnect like they’re supposed to, and like y’all said this morning, itchy wound means it’s beginning to heal. 
Doc was happy with how it looks and feels. Had me straight lift it about an inch off the table and said it was really good. Gave me a new flexible brace and a new way to walk with my crutches. Made the car ride and walking much more bearable. PT starts this week. He says I should be off crutches in 3 weeks. Woohoo!
