Perspective: Good or Bad News…?
Page 937-939 PARK 25th edition - HAD topics about committees in Health care (Health Planning)
The recent edition (Park 26th Ed.) has excluded the topics about Kartar singh committee(1973), Mudaliar committee(1962) , Mukerji committee(1965)
Are they important for our future doctors to read about health system evolution ?
Should they be incorporated or left out for our readers to find out themselves… Google will obviously have all the info on these…
Please comment, What’s you thoughts on topics like these…
From the perspective of a NEET aspirant I always found this topic frustrating. Two reasons, they’re tough to remember and not knowing it might affect your rank. But as a doctor’s perspective, yes they’re important. Future generations should remember their contributions. Can we do something like put life size portraits of these revolutionaries in the hallways of medical college or atleast in the PSM department.
