Has anyone had a revision due to the tibial tunnel being placed too posterior? What were your symptoms?

I had a revision - sole for the fact that my ACL was partially torn and loose which was causing my meniscus to tear. They did go in and take the graft out, and do a bone graft on my tibia tunnel. Then I had to wait 4 months for that to heal, and then do ACL reconstruction/revision

I had a revision in two stages. Both places the dr drilled were wrong. Said mine was too vertical. Not sure how they are doing yours in one stage if the tunnel isn’t in the right place… seems they would have to take everything out and fill in with bone and wait 3 months. Maybe so far off it’s not in the way?

yes in the tibia there is plenty of space in front of the existing one, and he will make a 10 mm instead of 9 mm in the other end.

What were your symptoms before the revision?
