Herpes simplex virus infection (cervical smear).
Infected cells become multinucleated and contain intranuclear viral inclusions with a characteristic “ground-glass” appearance.
(Note the 3 “M’s”; i.e. Multinucleation, Margination of the chromatin, Molding of the nuclei.)
