How is Cristian institute of health sciences in deemapur,for family medicine ?
no… i worked there in family medicine, i resigned after loosing 10 kgs in 6 months, due to non availability of food even 3-4 km away from hospital… they dont give a holiday even on festivals, working 10-12 hrs a day and 2 duties of 24 hrs like other MOs, and u have to cook your own food or get it from CRPF mess 1-2 km away… i dont know about specific specialties of gen med or gen surg… but its not worth family med… better take in south or prepare for next yr… stipend only 25 and they deduct 2-3k pm from that separately for accommodation… u will never go to opds and will only manage ward patients… hope u choose wisely…
infact i will never suggest anyone to take family medicine, its equal to MBBS in European countries and u will find employment only in europe or u can put a setup in remote areas, where u will do what an mbbs does… better prepare sincerely one more year, seats are increasing every year… do any diploma, if nothing else… even at 20k rank u can do anesthesia etc and be professionally satisfied, but family medicine has no scope in India for next 1-2 decades… i took it cos i did not have any idea…
