Ultrasound of : Masster Muscle Hypertrophy.

What if ?
_ You felt a palpable mass on parotid region and
_ Ultrasound study was unremarkable ?

.

In such case Look for these possibilitis :

  • If Unilateral >> Subcuatnous lipoma.

  • If Bilateral or unilateral >> Masster Muscle Hypertrophy.

  • If Bilateral >> Parotid sialosis (sialadenosis), with relatively normal texture.
