How to treat acidosis in case of shock? Do we give bicarbonate?
Determine underlying cause always.
Treat the shock the acidosis will resolve
You can give bicarb correction in the meanwhile to support the patient
Fluids first f/b bicarb depending on ph and the remaining abg.
IV fluids 1 lt bolus, check IVC ,give fluids accordingly, start Noradrenaline infusion, check lactate, identify the cause of shock. If sepsis broad-spectrum antibiotics, correct shock , monitor urine output hrly, can give bicarb infusion, if irreversible consider for RRT.
