I guess it’s a good thing NEXT is coming next year.

Students will have to pass the practical, ie, NEXT - 2, apart from NEXT - 1 (MCQs).

NEXT - 2 will just be a pass/fail exam, won’t be counted for PG Admissions.

PG admission will be based on marks of

NEXT - 1 (MCQs).

But if student fails to pass NEXT - 2, he can’t go ahead. So everyone, irrespective of category will have to study thoroughly.

Seats would be still reserved, but one can’t occupy them without qualifying NEXT - 2.
