I have no particular interest towards any department. Now, I have got aiims delhi md ophthalmology with 6 months of preparation post internship. Really confused whether to take it or not. Kindly tell how is the earning after md in ophthalmology? Is it hard to get jobs? What are the scope if planning to go abroad(u.k, uae). To all the practicing ophthalmologists out there, kindly help and guide…
Try for radiology…best scope for Money and abroad settlement…do frcr and you’re all set for uk or gulf countries
In india, optha is Saturated unless you’re willing to open your own setup which requires crores
Take it if you’re not particularly interested in any other branch.
No use wasting time. With the current state of the medical education in India , you never know what to expect.
Take it… try for emergency medicine if your ultimate goal is to ho abroad…simultaneously pursue mrcem… otherwise don’t take unnecessary risks…
Give neetpg and see your rank and only afterwards leave the branch
If u r willing to take it take it. As the branch is good only if u can prosper in that branch with your skillfull hands.
Last counselling I left ophthal seat in RIO kolkata & now suffering as i lost my both grandparents due to covid in this year
My father had covid infection in May end, since then I am not at all able to study
Whatever seat it is
doing it keenly
With hardwork nd dedication makes a goldstandard person towards that subject …
Nothing is inferior nd superior subjects ,(it became a stigma)
Many ophthalmologist have emerged but the unique thing is studying in aims Delhi ,and what makes a greater difference Nd uniqness from others matters.
