I have these doubt in 2 day why bone marrow over blood culture…and in typhoid carrrier ampicillin is the choice or ciprofloxacin
The 2nd answer is BM culture as antibiotics have already been started and blood culture may come falsely negative.
Drug of choice for asymptomatic typhoid carrier is ciproflox only.
