I’m mahdi first year student in jordan and I have some questions I need to get answered

1 )why USMLE ? What is special about it ?

  1. when I need to start preparing for it?

3)what materials I need to study?if you can mention some resources then please

4)some advice is gonna be great.

Hope this doesn’t come as too aggressive but you need to answer the first question yourself.

For example, when I realized I wanted to be a US physician I did my research and found out about USMLE and the whole process.

I’m telling you this because if you don’t know about usmle, then probably you are not even interested in becoming a US physician, I know a lot of people that prefer to stay in their home country and that’s OK, I also know people that complete a residency in the US and decide to come back to their home country because they didn’t like it, that’s also valid.

If you don’t know the answer to your first question yourself, then you don’t have to continue the usmle path, the exam is only valid in the US, it’s unnecessary to spend money on it if you don’t even know what it is about.
