I SCORED 252 in STEP 1 BUT I FAILED.
Hello everyone. I got my step 1 score in August. Scored 252. But my mother passed away just a few days after my result. I failed to save her. She had a sudden cardiac arrest and all i can think of now is how i failed to save my mother.
I have no idea how to proceed now. In life as well as the usmle journey. Neither do i have any strength left in me. If anybody could guide me on how to proceed further after step 1 plus how to cope up with this loss, i’ll be highly grateful.
All i wanted was to be a good doctor, and now i dont think I’m worthy of being one. The guilt is killing me. I’m sorry for posting this here.
