I want derma…but given so less seat for UR I m tensed…i want to keep pedi as 2nd choice…is DM necessary in pedi?..I belong to a middle class family…i can’t afford and don’t want to lose my youth giving any more exam… So i want a clarity… Like in Med it’s a compulsion… Is it the same or pedi or I can settle in 1 or 2 tier city with MD pediatrics??? Seniors plzz guide… I will fill choice accordingly… And choice lock is tommorow… Plzz
Md pediatrics is more than enough to survive or get respect in tier 2 or 3 cities …even if u think for DM… the option form next year will be pediatric cardiology or neonatology …the life will be hectic after that, enough to compromise your personal nd family life…MD Pediatrics is an end branch if you want to practice and earn name nd fame…but wo bhi hai…sitaron k aage jahaan or bhi hain…jaane kitne imtehaan or bhi hain
Md paeds is enough… buts its a very hectic branch, at par with md med. So think through !
yea… But i have no energy left to study for neet ss exam… That’s why I m thinking
i know I can understand! If you are fine with paeds you can take, no need to do ss after that( atleast its not necessary)
If not getting md dermatology in AIQ can try in state or take DNB DERMATOLOGY and passing rates are also gud
can fill choices after md dermatology see md/dnb doesn’t matter much branch matters which will stay with you lifelong
DM is only compulsory in tier 1 cities thats it….no where even 20km outside cities DM is not needed just have to be willing to go to outskirts
Take dnb derma. Dont compromise ur branch. Non surgical DNBs are as good as MD.
You already lost your youth by entering into mbbs … Why bother
I have talked with many seniors… Everyone are of the opinion unless u do DM u cant settle in big cities… Patient party is very much aware… So they will consult a neurologist or nephrologist for respective problems… Even corporates panel their consultant that way only.
I beg to disagree…Even in tier 1 city like Kolkata many are practicing successfully as MD Gen med…and if u go just few kms away from the heart of the town there are ample chances to thrive given you have good clinical acumen, behaviour and obviously connections
