My personal experience. If you are not going to do any sporting activities your ortho is right.

You will have moments of imbalance where you will cause pain…like slipping on ice 🧊.

It’s gonna require patience so that you don’t rush things and end up requiring surgery.

If your ortho can recommend a supplement to ease the inflammation which can become chronic at times like these. Things will be a bit more accommodating.

Be careful when moving around, but not to careful to the point you move abnormally—-which can cause you to move awkwardly and cause hurt.
