If you have excess of money and want to do PG in any Pvt clg no matter what don’t even continue stop reading here…
Remaining ppl…
Amongst the 20+ branches we have very few ppl will have only one option as their branch… Those ppl take that branch in any clg u get no matter peripheral or whatever dnb or MD for u will not be happy in any other branch
But many ppl have two or three branches as options definitely one of them being GM /Radio/Derma/ paeds which u may not get in govt or DNB and u may have another branch in mind which u may get… Now u might be in a Tiff… If two branches are of ur choices and u r getting one branch in a not so good institute and other in a better institute ,go for the one with better institute…
Now few ppl have a problem like u might be getting MD of same branch in a very peripheral institute and DNB of same branch in a top 5 hospitals, if it’s non surgical ND u r not interested in teaching ,I would suggest u to go for DNB because quality matters…
And for those who tried for a clinical seat but don’t have good enough rank and planning to pay in deemed clgs and belong to a not Soo rich family , think of one thing guys u will be paying around 80-120L for ur pg and u will have expenses like books, workshops, and what not during the three years… After coming out you will be starting around 80k to 1.5l depending on branch and college not more than that , think if it’s a pressure u can take to re earn that money or is it worth it.
For those who are depressed if they will be getting non clinicals , remember the first and second yr of MBBS some of us would have enjoyed dissection, while some would have enjoyed bio chem or physio or micro or what else… If u have a research aptitude don’t hesitate in taking ur fav nonclin subject as a branch too …
Every branch has a bright future if you can apply ur self into it and there is nothing like saturation or non saturation.
Sit find your passion , don’t go into the herd
Don’t take medicine or radio just because Sharma Ji ka beta took it when u love path or spm
It doesn’t matter what field u r in,just how best u r in the field u chose.
