I'm 10 weeks post ACL patella tendon/meniscus surgery

I’m 10 weeks post ACL patella tendon/meniscus surgery. I tweaked my knee by accident getting off a piece of gym equipment (upper body equipment and seat where I kneel pushed my knee into a deeper bend at slight angle, I am a klutz) Anyway, I was fine at physical therapy this morning, I could do all exercises, just feeling more soreness and a little more pain than usual mainly in front of the knee, and a little weaker on that side. Ice helps a lot, so I am thinking I just. “stretched it”, but I can’t stop worrying I did more. Can anyone relate or offer advice?

Hey Emily Reed Rash, tricky to say as the graft is not at its strongest so close to the surgery date but many of these types of tweaks turn out to be minor strains etc and get better. I would keep an eye on the symptoms and progress and note down what causes any pain , and if this persists over the next few day get in touch with a Physiotherapist/ PT or your Surgeon. Hope you feel better soon.

I’m sure your fine. Keep going. It’s a new graft with 10 weeks of healing.
