In concordance with Zolner-Wullstein classification of Tympanoplasty

Ma’am in concordance with Zolner-Wullstein classification of Tympanoplasty, in Type I Myringoplasty, graft is placed in either Overlay/Underlay technique over the handle of Malleus,

Henceforth, Ma’am why can’t we opt for option B?

With Sincere Regards.

Overlay or underlay depends on where we place the graft w.r.t. the annulus of the TM. Lateral to the annulus is overlay

Medical to the annulus is underlay

Much appreciated, but still according to Wullstein classification, Type I Tympanoplasty implies placing the graft in close proximity with the handle of Malleus, thus, in both the techniques graft will be in Lateral relation w.r.to malleus, why not B?
