In extra peritoneal rupture we do, foleys cath. Where as in Intra peritoneal rupture we do exploratory laparotomy

Here history suggests extraperitoneal rupture…
H/o pelvic trauma
Inability to pass urine suggests extraperitoneal rupture
In intraperitoneal rupture there will be pain abdomen peritonitis
Extraperitoneal rupture t/t is Foley’s catheterization
It’s the description of an extraperitoneal rupture of bladder - so foleys has to be done
