please clarify if epiblast cells are pluripotent or PGC are pluripotent because epiblast can form 3 germ layers but PGC will just form gamentes. In IB singh 12th edition pg 32, PGC are mentioned as unipotent.

Primordial germ cells (PGCs) are unipotent progenitors of the gametes and are derived from the pluripotent epiblast cells by mesodermal induction signals during gastrulation. However, PGCs are considered developmentally pluripotent, given they generate the whole totipotent zygote after fertilization.
PGCs can undergo reprogramming in vivo and in vitro to give rise to embryonal carcinoma cells (ECCs), which are the pluripotent stem cells. Thank you.
