Indication for IV epinephrine : HR < 60 BPM even after chest compression

Indication for IV epinephrine : HR < 60 BPM even after chest compression

if the heart rate doesnot improve after one round of chest compression and ventilation …dont we check the mask n do the correction

If No response to PPV or HR<100 but > 60 we do corrective steps

Here it is mentioned HR <60 so epinephrine will be crucial.

Let sir opine though.

Doctor has started CPR that means AMBU has failed after checking the adequacy of ventilation.

HR still less than 60 give adrenaline.

correction has already been done in this case… It’s written in the question"the pediatrician again assess the baby"

Simple question from protocol

That’s a Basic doubt one can face. Nobody asked you whether it was simple or not. This level of superiority complex is not necessary.

less than 60 to start epineprine

CPR 3:1 means that the ventilation management has been already taken… now 3 compressions are being given against 1 ventilation…yet the HR is less than 60…so we are going for epinephrine iv…
