Injury due to lightening can be due to all except

1.Direct injury due to current
2.Burns due o superheaded light
3.Expanded air after flash
4.Compressed air before the flash

exp:

Mechanism of injury by lightening

a. Due to direct effect of current of very high voltage, cardio-respiratory failure or sudden cardiac arrest is likely to ensue.

b. Burning by the flash of lightening.

c. The atmospheric gases become heated to 20,000 c, and this heating of gases in the path of lightening causes an explosive expansion. Blast effect of the rapidly expanding air which may tear the clothing and impart suspicion of foul play.

d. Compression effect due to air movement in its return wave produces the changes.

So compression effect is after the flash not before the flash.
