how near reflex present in in AAPD(instead of complete optic nerve damage),tonic pupil,ARP? & Sir please tell near reflex pathway
AAPD-Area 8 i.e. Right and left frontal eye field directly supplies the EWN so the near reflex is not lost But light reflex is lost
Tonic Pupil- Ciliary muscle have 30x more nerve supply than the iris so some fibres mistakenly supply iris (abberant regeneration) leads to miosis during near reflex but light reflex is absent… correct me if i am wrong
