  1. Institutes where both DNB and MD/MS courses are there

  2. DNB institution in which your subject guide is a MCI recognized teacher (clause for recognition given in NMC website)

Point no.2 applies for institutions having more than 500 beds also…

Only institutions which comes under these 2 points are MCI recognized

So mere presence of more than 500 beds is not the only criteria to be called as teaching institute…it should fulfill other criteria also
