Is meningitis complicates to meningitis… ideal time for cochlear implant is 1year after the infection or 1 year of age of the child?
Cochlear implant done after 1yr age of child
Cochlear implant not done in active infection.
Also before 1 yrs of age, it’s not done.
Cochlear implant should be done after the resolution of the acute infection ( here meningitis) . Also the age of the child should be one year and above
