Raised prolactin can be caused to due physiological reasons, drugs, and tumour. But to confirm whether it’s a tumour MRI has to be done
25-40 is physiological
40-100 drugs
100 probable tumour
250 definitely tumor

but if prolactin is increased in hormonal study itself why to move forward can we not consider it prolactinoma thr n there itself by just doing MRI directly rather than wasting time for progesterone test n all
progesterone test r done only wen prolactin levels are normal. If u see the picture, it shows prolactin is normal
