It is given as moderate anaemia in third trimester. Then shouldn’t oral therapy be given ? Wouldn’t Parenteral be given in severe anemia in early t3
In third trimester cases we can’t take the risk if the pregnant mother will/won’t be maintaining the oral iron therapy.
As we must increase the Hb level to the satisfactory level before delivery, we use parenteral iron( though both oral and parenteral iron have same efficacy in treating iron deficiency anemia)
