JR1 posted about her tragedy

Yesterday an overworked JR1 posted about her tragedy and how she is facing burn out and she can’t take a single day off for relaxation … Surprisingly few senior members of our fraternity told her to relax, take a break or to have a vacation or to go to home… If someone can’t have enough time for sleeping , how can she manage leave for vacation? Sounds like queen Antoinette’s ’ if the people have no bread, let them eat cake’ quote…

These jr1s r waiting for us to come & chop us off🤗

Inspite Of This Tremendous Pressure, In Many Places, No JR2, JR3 or AP comes for rescue in these tense times. Burnout, Despite Being A Real INICET Question, Is Practically Non-existant to them…as a few higher above the echelon still think that what they’ve Suffered Once In Past, Is A Must To Suffer For Their Juniors too…

As Someone Said, “An Eye For An Eye and The Entire World Will Go Blind”

That is the reason why humiliation is a form punishing juniors. “Amra jolechi toh ora jolbena kno” is the real rot in this system

Lol…I don’t know when there were few JR, the work was still same and no one complained…toxicity never goes off.

And now atleast in peds in delhi we have 15+ jr in one batch then no point of complaining because residency means you have to work.

I don’t want to normalise toxicity in terms of consultant or senior abuse but work you have to do…there is no running away from 24-36 hours duty…all this is to be done for a better future ahead…that’s all… if you not gonna work…how are you gonna learn…

And no one these days make jr 1 work or slog until they can’t take it anymore…if that is the issue…please report to police or RDA …

no one is running away from duties. But going on with 1st year like duties for 17+ months is painful to say the least. Who will prepare for their finals or do the thesis on their behalf?
