Just when I started thinking I was breaking through by leg pressing 140lbs

Just when I started thinking I was breaking through by leg pressing 140lbs, I was asked to bend my knee on a 2 inch step.

Stupid knee doesn’t want to bend when I put weight on it. Anyone else deal with this shenanigans?

Like stepping down from a 1 inch step? Or single leg squat?

we are going for a single leg squat motion. I had one leg on a small step and the other on the side. I was trying to bend the knee and slowly tap the other foot to the ground.

yes that’s a difficult one at first! It really helps to get more quad strength, but it also requires flexibility to be able to go past your toes with your knee. How’s walking down the stairs for you?

Honestly yes, but it’s not that my knee/quad can’t do it.

It’s my mental block. I’m so afraid of hurting it or thinking it’s still a “baby” phase, it helps me to fully straighten it, really focus on the movement - & visualize doing it on my good knee. I also started holding on to something until I could learn to trust my body
