Liddle is d/t mutation of Enac that causes Na and water retention

Liddle is d/t mutation of Enac that causes Na and water retention. As it is also not due to high Aldo levels and as well as there is inhibition of RAAs due to vol overload,So less Aldo . Then why there is alkalosis and hypokalemia?

Romk and H+ATPase channels are directly linked to enac channel . Enac overactivity will lead to excess activity of both. Thus there is loss of potassium and h+ causing alkalosis and hypokalemia
