Which one is good, money & future wise?

every branch has pros n cons… its not the branch which decides future… its you who decides what to become in future…
Choose what u’re good at…both have completely different skill set…u should know by now.
It depends upon the place where ur practicing … see ortho is completely saturated in tier 1 cities…plus fellowship is not like Superspecialisation so ur pay does not increase with fellowship unlike surgery…ortho is an end course and hence u will be competing with everyone once ur out…most of ur hospitals already have established orthopod who won’t let u grow…if ur setting up ur own hospital…then it’s fine u can earns tons … otherwise it would say no…u see very easily see the cutoff of ortho going back year after year…now its 8k…pls call up atleast 10-15 orthopods b4 taking a desicion… asking in FB… noone knows anything .
Now radio also. If ur going to finish n just sit in corporate…u will reach a peak of 4 lakhs of ur working for 12 hrs…then plateau…after radio u can investe in ur own USG centre ( which is not a huge investment) and do interventional radiology to break the plateau…call up IR ppl in ur area… n u will know about it btr…
Any specilaty u will earn money only if u work Hard…there is no easy Money… Looking at the saturation of ortho… I would say radio is safer… u know for a fact that u will have a base pay of 3-4 lakhs… how u grow frm it is up to u …in ortho it’s not the case…think n decide
