My close friend is HIV positive with an undetectable viral load. He is on treatment for past 3 years now, working as a MO in guj govt permanent post.
He is 33 years old, but now wants to get into PG. He is aiming at MD Medicine or OBGYN. Having such a health condition, is it wise to go into PG ?? Considering the stressful 3 years… Are there chances of him contracting TB from the hospital?? Should he opt for surgical branches??
Kindly opine…
Chances of getting TB or other diseases are involved in both MO or PGT
Depends on how much he can handle mentally and physically.
Better to go for non surgicals. Surgeons keep getting accidental pricks.
Join in private almost nil chance especially if dnb from big corp hospitals.
