NEET PG Question Pattern

NEET-PG is a computer based test (CBT) with 300 MCQs.
NEET-PG question paper pattern has been evolving over the past many years. There are many changes in NEET-PG question pattern in past few years:
Introduction of negative marking (4 marks for every correct answer, one mark deducted for every incorrect response, no marks awarded/ deducted for unattempted MCQs)
Introduction of image based questions
Introduction of video based questions
Reduction in memory based questions (one-liners)
Increasing trend of applied nature of MCQs like clinical scenarios in line with new MCI curriculum
Increasing length of questions
Due to “Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)” students cannot share the actual NEET-PG exam questions with anyone in written, oral or electronic forms. Hence, NEET-PG previous papers or questions are not available for students to review.
NEET-PG entrance exam is of 1200 marks. Usually the highest score (Rank 1) in NEET-PG exam is in the range 930-1010. Generally, you cannot get any good PG-seat below the score of 500.
300 MCQs are to be solved in 3.5 hours. So 1 MCQ is to be solved in 42 seconds! So time management in NEET-PG exam preparation is of paramount importance as NEET-PG question paper pattern consists of lengthy questions describing clinical scenarios.
