OBC reservations will not get cancelled dot…
Similar outrage from upper castes happened when VP Singh Government introduced OBC reservations in 1990. People have literally started spewing vitriol telling same boring stories like merit, deserving candidate blah blah . But no one was able to stop it further.
BJP- The ruling party is projecting itself nowadays as OBC oriented party to tarnish it’s previously projected image as upper caste oriented party. So the union Govt may even pass law to enact OBC reservations in NEET even if supreme court cancels it. TN govt did similar thing in 1995 when reservations reached 69% mark. BJP definitely knows that the whole nation is watching them. The opposition especially DMK and many more parties will start campaigning against BJP if OBC reservations gets cancelled. Only thing that can happen due to all these court cases is cancellation of EWS reservation which Govt will not be able to defend in the court of law.
So practically speaking, every single possibility is skewed towards OBC reservations due to obvious politico-cultural impact that it gonna cause when it get’s implemented or get’s removed.
