Plzz don’t take md anesthesia… ppl might tell u that there is no patient contact in anesthesia but its totally wrong… after joining you will realize that anesthetists treat most critically ill patients and relatives of such patients are most aggressive they attack ventilators and anesthetists are most prone to such attacks its better to take patho psychiatry ent rather than anesthesia…
This all is far from reality Doctor…and good for discussion but hold no practical values…Clinicals hamesha se First preference pe jaate the aur jaate rahenge bhale hi 10 doctors target pe rahe ya 100…and Anaesthesia has infact gone on higher ranks because of critical medicine advancement…
Medicine vs anesthesia. Scope salary earning? Plz differentiate.
Most anaesthetists are very poor in managing critical care patient.They are self-styled,pseudo-critical care specialist.You read any standard textbook of anaesthesia & then judge yourself.You will hardly find detail management of any serious medical illness in such textbooks.Anaesthesia & Critical care are two completely different departments. In medicine,you will know to manage all critical care patient. I have seen medical ICUs managed exclusively by MD anaesthesia & MD medicine.
