is compression DVT stocking as prophylaxy to prevent post thrombotic syndrome. Offer below the knee graduated compression stocking with an ankle pressure greater than 23 mmHg to patients with proximal DVT a week after Dx or when swelling is reduced sufficiently and if there is not any contraindications, and advise it just for affected leg or legs for 2 years and it should be changed 2 to 3 times per year.
