So I suppose every PLAB 2 candidate has received an email regarding upcoming seats… those who took the exam before October are guaranteed a seat but those who have taken it in or after October are not guaranteed one 
… what are candidates whose IELTS/OET are on the verge of expiry gonna do now ??? Should we email GMC to extend the validity of those tests??
i dont understand if they can guarantee a seat for every candidate who passed before October then why not for those who cleared it after ? Its really not our fault that the test already got cancelled due to pandemic
ikr! First the july exam got cancelled and then the sept one. I had to wait 9 months for my part 1 and now im supposed to wait for more than a year for part 2 and then retake oet?! Is all this even worth it?!

This is the right move which should hade been done earlier. Pre-october candidates have their ielts/oet expired as well as Plab 2. Everyone will get a chance. All you need is patience as pre-oct candidates been doing almost for a year now.
PLAB 1 validity has already been extended. And it’s 3 years. Talking about the language assessment test, the GMC can’t do anything as OET or IELTS validity is addressed by their respective organisations. Yes, for some, the GMC is opened to talk about it. They can consider language assessment test valid if your PLAB bookings have been affected during this pandemic. Contact GMC!
