Surgeon told me to keep my scars out of the sunlight for the remainder of the year. Anyone bought/used any products that would protect me at the beach (besides sunscreen)? Would be great if I could wear/use it in the water. Many thanks!
Using topical creams like Mcderma or Aquafor are great as well as taking collgen supplements
My surgeon told me the same. He suggested two things 1 a really good silicone based scar reducer, I use scar away. And 2 the sunscreen should be a good high spf I got Neutrogena 100 spf.
Used liquid vitamin E. And scar was almost completely gone after 6 weeks
