The Korner's Septum might get confused with the medial most wall of the antrum when drilling mastoid

The Korner’s Septum might get confused with the medial most wall of the antrum when drilling mastoid to remove infection and as a result there might be incomplete clearance of the infection.

So my query is that can we visualise the septum prior to the operation by any radiological or any other imaging techniques that Korner Septum is present!

P.S - I know that indication to stop surgery lies 1.5cm from the skin but I wanted to know whether there is any other method!

Yes we can but we do not get radiological investigations done as a routine before mastoid surgeries unless there is some complications
