Therapeutic Diet Service for Patients and Relatives at AIIMS
New Facility Inaugurated at AIIMS Raipur, Nutritional Food, Juice and Ice Cream will be available

Patients, their relatives and staff in All India Institute of Medical Sciences can have easy access to nutritional foods, juice, biscuits and ice cream, thanks to newly inaugurated Therapeutic Diet Service in AIIMS. New service will be available at Emergency and Trauma Building for all visitors and staff.
The building is witnessing heavy influx of patients and their relatives on a daily basis. They have to move other parts of the AIIMS to get the food. AIIMS administration has decided to provide food at the building itself so that relatives can save their time and serve their dear ones at Emergency.
After inaugurating new facility, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin M. Nagarkar, Director, AIIMS Raipur visited new canteen and directed staff to provide clean and hygienic conditions in cooking and washing areas, nutritional food to patients and their relatives and clean water to all visitors. New facility will be spread in 13000 sq. feet area and will have dining capacity of nearly 400 persons. 100 staff from the vendor will be available at the canteen.
There will be separate areas for Patient Liquid Section, Juice and for the staff. All food items will be served at AIIMS rate. Medical Superintendent Dr. Karan Peepre said that AIIMS is trying to provide best medical and food services to all. This is another step in that direction. Shri Neeresh Sharma, Deputy Director (Administration) also graced the occasion.
