This image the xray plain of a 5 year old girl showing the evidence of radiopaque foreign body in the aerodigestive tract… It confirms with the history and the xray that the foreign body is in the oesophagus (cricopharynx) level… Patient was posted for emergency foreign body removal through oesophagoscope… Foreign body was removed and surprisingly it was found to be a BEARING OF A FAN… post op events insignificant… patient was discharged… This post is just to spread awareness among parent to give special attention to their children to avoid life threatening events… thank you…
