we differentiate between staghorn calculi n Pujo on xray or do we need to do ivu for it
Staghorn calculus will be seen on plain Xray KUB. PUJ obstruction will not be seen on plain Xray KUB. PUJ obstruction will become apparent only on IVU study when the contrast will fill up the dilated renal calyces & renal pelvis without any dilatation of the ureter. Also USG will clearly help us differentiate them
