What is fibrillation potential of nerve in electromyography(EMG)?

what is fibrillation potential of nerve in electromyography(EMG) ??

It’s rather fibrillation potential of muscles in EMG. When muscle fibre gets completely denervated it produces spontaneous potential on its own which are called fibrillation potentials. It’s presence indicates denervation and it’s absence (i.e no potential) indicates muscle fibres have been replaced by fibrous tissue.
