What is the diff b/w scleroderma & Sclerederma ?

Scleroderma is a disease characterised by fibrosis and strictures.

Sclerederma - edema due to mucin accumulation in skin

Seen in Diabetes

Sclerederma caused due to dysfunctional fibroblasts causing deposition of mucin in dermis and replacement of collagen by connective tissue.

Sclerederma the thickness of dermis is 5 times the normal thickness.

Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease.
