What is the most common site of Cholesteatoma, is it Prussak’s Space or Sinus tympani?
Prussak’s space Was it primary, secondary or congenital and there’s nothing called cholesteatoma(misnomer)
Keratoma is different, cholesteatoma is is cyst in middle ear
Cholesteatoma is misnomer because it’s neither crystal nor a tumour
Sinus tymapni is m/c place of residual cholesteatoma
Prussack Space, because Retraction pocket(I.e.Part of TM retracted) occurs MC in Pars Flaccida(Least fibrous&Most mobile part of TM)
Since, pars flaccida is in proximity to Epitympanum, its pocket enters Prussack’s space
