What’s up gang???

Just wanted to share my experience these last few months to maybe provide some hope!

I tore my ACL and Miniscus during indoor soccer 6 months ago and I am 5 months post op now. It was a brutal and painful process for the first few months. I remember crying nonstop the first week because moving my leg in any direction was unbearable to say the least. But I continued to do my rehab at home and at my facility and never gave up. It built a lot of character within me and I’m grateful for it. At 3 1/2 months I started to really hit my stride with strength, extension and all of that. I can say now that I’m at full extention(when I’m not swelled up) and my range of motion is up to par. My quad needs to be stronger so my body trusts my quad with using my leg to its full extent but I’m getting there. I’ve been running, doing light sprints, agility and passing a soccer ball around. You’ll get there, just put one foot in front of the other!
