What symptom makes u think it may be MTS.
The case history is classical of absence seizures.
Also MTS is one of the cause of medically refractory seizures and usually managed surgically.
As someone mentioned, usually a coronal oblique MRI head is given highlighting

hippocampal atrophy
-
dilation of the temporal horn of lateral ventricle
-
T2 & FLAIR hyper-intensity.
Lip smacking -automatic behavior
Also sudden behaviour arrest or motionless stare may be seen which may be confused with daydreaming
