Where external incision is used

where external incision is used

The management of Ludwig’s angina is an external incision but rarely an intraoral incision can be given for the sublingual part if the infection is confined to the sublingual part .

Whereas for a parapharyngeal abscess always an external incision is required.

Ideally considering the above scenario both can be the answer, but if we have to mark one , the better answer will be parapharyngeal abscess
