Somatic origin head & neck muscles
occipital somites-tongue muscles supplied by 12 cranial nerve
Pre occipital somites -extra ocular muscesl by 3rd ,4th,6th cranial nerve
Cerical somites diaphragm
Contains 3rd,4th,6th,12th cranial nerve nucleus.
